DJ AWARDS OFFERS X20 RETURN
ON INVESTMENT IN FIVE YEARS
DJ AWARDS S.L (Spain) is looking to raise £1m of investment (across two stages) via DJ AWARDS SPV LTD (a UK based company that owns 51% of DJ AWARDS S.L (Spain) and has EIS secured). The two phases will be split into £500,000 before Chreistmas 2024 from angel investors and the second stage will be £500,000 through the Crowedcube crowdfunding platform in Februarey 2025. This investment capital will be emplotyed to secure a full time, year round team, retain a PR and social media agency, appoint a Grand Jury, deliver DJ Awards USA (Miami 27th March 2025), The DJ Awards (Ibiza 1st October) and develop and launch DJ DEX (our mobile application which is a combination of Resident Advisor meets Diners Club meets BA AmEx).

DJ AWARDS is forecast to generate £0.4M (67% gross margin) in year one primarily from sponsorship income. This increases to £4.4M (83% gross margin) in year five as the revenue streams diversify to include licencing, franchsing, consutling, merchandise, contenmt, comissions and monthky recurdsing rev ues from the mobile app. The business genreas a profilt from year two onwards. The business would be foicused on an exeit event at years three or five for a x20 multiple to AEG / LiveNation, Universal Records or similar who can take advanatge of the influneace, recah and reputatioon and superharge income throiugh investment in global event growth, parnerships and mobile app developnent.

DJ AWARDS requires €550k of funding to start product development in May 2024 and also includes enough money to cash flow the business up until May 2025, which includes executing a significant global launch marketing campaign online kicking off when the product is ready for launch to the market in January 2025. Users will either pay €0.99 per session (with a session lasting 24 hours on a count down from start time) or a monthly subscription of €4.50. The forecasts assume a churn rate of 5%. with a cost per acquisition of €3.20 per user (which is for paid advertising on social media). The business is expected to start to generate profits and cash from August 2025. By the end of April 2027 (three years) the business aims to have signed up 510,000 users, of which 183,000 users are paying monthly subscriptions which will generate revenues of c€5.9m with EBITDA of €4.2m. With this level of profits / market penetration and based on metrics applied to similar businesses, this would suggest a valuation at this point of c€42m. The business is focused on a trade sale / exit event within three years offering early stage investors a x8 ROI.
